No, you said you work with them as much as they seek to work with you -- yet you also discourage them. So, that sounds to me like you aren't taking the opportunity to get to know your wardens, and who might work with you best.

[ He's well aware this place expects him to change, but he can and will complain about it the whole time. If his Warden can't push back as hard as he can then they weren't meant to be heard out. ]

Assuming this place remains on mostly its best behavior, I do not suspect that will change.
